Job Description

A Design Engineer / Renewables Design Engineer / Building Services Engineer / Heat Pump Designer / HVAC Design Engineer is required for a renewable energy company in Chesterfield.

The Design Engineer / Renewables Design Engineer / Building Services Engineer / Heat Pump Designer / HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for producing CAD drawings for renewable energy products and supporting various projects simultaneously.

The successful Design Engineer / Renewables Design Engineer / Building Services Engineer / Heat Pump Designer / HVAC Design Engineer will have experience in building services / heat pump design and ideally have a degree equivalent in building services engineering.

Responsibilities for Design Engineer / Renewables Design Engineer / Building Services Engineer / Heat Pump Designer / HVAC Design Engineer

Produce new and updated technical drawings using CAD Revit and SolidWorks.
Carry out building fabric and ventilation heat-loss calculations.
Maintain and update drawings databases and design / estimating documentation.
Prepare customer estimates and handle pre-sales technical enquiries.
Work with engineering and sales teams to plan and deliver design solutions.
Support the Technical Department with additional project tasks as required.

Requirements for Design Engineer / Renewables Design Engineer / Building Services Engineer / Heat Pump Designer / HVAC Design Engineer

Experience designing renewable energy solutions air source / ground source heat pumps etc
Experience carrying out heat loss calculations for ventilation systems and building fabric
Proficiency with CAD packages
Degree or equivalent in building services engineering
Reliably commute or plan to relocate to chesterfield
