What Youll Do
Champion Safety
Keep the Facility Operating Smoothly
Conduct daily equipment and system rounds to identify issues early.
Troubleshoot repair and maintain a wide range of commercial and industrial equipment.
Assess equipment performance by checking pressures speeds temperatures vibrations and wear components.
Handle Preventative and Reactive Maintenance
You will work on:
HVAC systems
Fire and life safety systems
Plumbing and electrical systems
Transformers motors MCC panels VFDs wiring and cables
Dock equipment including overhead doors dock levelers locks and seals
Building and parking lot lighting systems
Perform Skilled Repairs
Rebuild pumps steam traps valves and other mechanical components.
Address plumbing issues including leaks stoppages and fixture repairs.
Maintain electrical controls and distribution systems.
Assist with general facility repairs such as carpentry painting and basic building upkeep.
Support Operations and Efficiency
Order parts manage purchase orders coordinate with vendors and attend project meetings.
Document work in the CMMS analyze results and recommend improvements.
Communicate clearly with team members and facility staff to ensure alignment on work status and expectations.
Grow Into Project Leadership
What You Bring to the Role
Education & Experience
High school diploma required; trade school or technical coursework preferred.
4 years of experience in mechanical electrical plumbing or carpentry maintenance.
At least 1 year of experience working with commercial dock levelers overhead doors dock locks and automatic doors.
Experience with plumbing service or remodel work.
Licenses
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and life safety.
Proficiency with hand tools power tools and facility equipment.
Ability to disassemble and reassemble pumps fans fixtures and HVAC components.
Comfortable using a computer email MS Word tablets and maintenance software such as CMMS and Building Automation Systems.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability
Strong troubleshooting skills in non-routine situations.
Ability to prioritize shifting workloads based on customer needs.
Solid math and reasoning skills.
Willingness to support occasional weekend or non-standard hours.
