Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Implement state rollouts for Guidewire BillingCenter and PolicyCenter products.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior Guidewire associates.
- Analyze client business needs assess technical feasibility and communicate requirements to offshore teams.
- Hands-on development for PolicyCenter/BillingCenter including configuration and integration tasks.
- Coordinate offshore teams for resolving production incidents and reviewing development work.
- Review offshore deliverables in PCF configuration business rules and data model creation.
- Manage and communicate team status and progress to management.
- Provide technical support for Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter in production environments.
- Analyze and coordinate defect resolution with the team.
- Coordinate with service providers and integration owners to maintain application uptime and health.
- Utilize strong knowledge of PolicyCenter/BillingCenter configurations (billing methods invoice structures workflows commissions batch processes etc.).
- Integrate with third-party platforms and work with SQL Server or DB2 databases.
- Deploy applications on servers such as WebSphere Apache Tomcat or JBOSS.
- Work extensively with Guidewire Gosu code APIs methods rules and processes.
- Develop and consume web services (WSDL SOAP XML REST).
- Maintain code versioning using systems like SVN.
- Multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Directly interact with customers and possess strong communication skills (written and spoken English).
- Must have 4-7 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter modules.
- Hold Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter professional certification.
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services is a plus.
