Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and consultations
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients about anesthesia procedures and safety
- Respond to any emergencies or complications during procedures
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in anesthesia care
Requirements
- Current CRNA certification and licensure
- Basic understanding of anesthesia techniques and patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Basic proficiency in medical software and documentation
- Must have a valid state license to practice as a CRNA
Schedule: 7a-5p
Rotating overnight call shifts
Annual Volume: 6500 cases
5 ORs
Will cover the main OR or OB float cases
Case Types: General ortho OB/GYN TOCALS/VBACs
Must be proficient in epidurals spinals and ultrasound-guided anesthesia; no nerve catheters
EMR: Cerner
Board certification required
