Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Developer to join our team as a Technical Lead. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in database development performance tuning and leadership capabilities to guide a team of developers in delivering high-quality database solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design development and deployment of SQL Server-based solutions.
Optimize and tune complex SQL queries stored procedures and ETL processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
Review code and mentor junior developers to ensure best practices in database development.
Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues data integrity problems and connectivity issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based SQL environments (e.g. Azure SQL AWS RDS).
Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
Prior experience in a Tech Lead role or leading project teams.
Additional Notes:
This role is critical for the CS project phase e.g. CS2.0 deployment planning.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
6 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server development.
Strong proficiency in T-SQL stored procedures functions triggers and indexing strategies.
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI.
Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to lead a technical team and work independently when needed.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
