Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the upkeep of building systems such as electrical plumbing and HVAC
- Supervise the work of third-party contractors and in-house staff
- Manage budgets for facilities operations maintenance and projects
- Negotiate and manage contracts for services
- Control spending to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Ensure the facility meets all health and safety standards and regulations
- Manage the allocation and utilization of space within the building
- Coordinate and oversee repairs renovations and installations
- Perform regular inspections of buildings and grounds
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years experience
