As aCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to assist with various aspects of daily living and provide essential support to residents in need.
Need the CertificationWe offer a unique opportunity for qualified candidates to join our team as a NA Trainee and participate in a 2-week company-paid CNA certification program at our facility located in Guthrie OK. Throughout the training program you will receive comprehensive instruction and hands-on experience to prepare you for a rewarding career in successful completion of the program you will transition into a new career as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
- Providing mobility assistance such as transferring and positioning residents safely.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Assisting with meal times including feeding residents who require assistance.
- Supporting residents social and emotional well-being by engaging in meaningful interactions and activities.
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment for residents including making beds and tidying living spaces.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from licensed nurses.
