Testing Engineer 2nd Shift 400pm 100am, M-F

Responsibilities:

• Testing
  • Knowledge in UL 857 and related standards
  • Test plan creation and update daily
  • Strict adherence to test Scheduling
  • Test Sample follow up
  • Conducting various testing systematically with strict compliance to SOP
• Report Preparation
  • Preparing various test reports and compiling report with utmost care and accuracy
  • Interacting with all stake holders and ensuring the draft reports for certification testing has accurate information.
• General
  • Ensuring OHSMS requirements as per ISO 45001 in lab (and within company)
  • Ensuring EMS requirements as per ISO 14001 OHSMS in lab (and within company)
  • Ensuring QMS requirements as per ISO 9001 in lab (and within company)
  • Ensuring machines calibration safety checks in Lab.
  • Machine & Tools inventory management in Lab
  • Ensuring 5S in the Test Lab at all times
  • Prompt feedback and corrections of any deviations.
  • Manpower management
  • Document management- Proper storage of Soft and Hard copy documents

Requirements:

• Diploma in electrical engineering.
• 2-3 years of experience in product testing in a lab environment
• Good working experience in Excel sheet word and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment strong organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and influence with/without authority

Preferred Qualifications:

• Busbar or switchgear testing experience preferred
• Good knowledge about UL standards various UL standards preferred
• Bilingual is a plus - English/Spanish

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification or 4 years experience in lab testing if any other qualification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This work requires the person to be able to stand long hours and handle heavy parts

SHIFT DEMANDS

2nd shift position - Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 1:00am with overtime as needed.
