Job Summary

Apply today to join our team as a Finishing Operator in our Flexographic Print Department! 

THE ROLE

  • HOURS: On-the-job training will be conducted for this role during 1st shift (7:30 am to 4 pm) for approximately 4-6 weeks prior to taking on a set schedule of 2pm - 10pm.

  • Operator Rewind Slitter Machine: Finish printed roles to customer specifications using a rewinder or a slitter machine. Removes and splices out any defects while using a strobe light to detect defects. Accurately completes paperwork and records daily production jobs.

  • TEAMPLAYER: Do what it takes to get the job done and work as a team. Help other associates when asked. 


Qualifications :

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • KNOWLEDGE: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven dedication in prior roles through longevity and consistent work history. Prior experience as a Finished Goods Associate Production Associate Cutter or similar role preferred but not required. 

  • SKILLS: Attention to detail. Ability to read comprehend and follow instructions safety rules and operating procedures. Accurately use strobe light to detect defects. Ability to use a calculator and basic math (addition subtraction multiplication and division).

  • ABILITIES: THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN OMAHA NE and requires the ability to work at our office at 132nd & L Street. Ability to lift and move 60 pound rolls average lifting is 40 pound rolls. Frequent bending stooping twisting of lumbar and squatting. Standing or walking on cement floors and anti-fatigue mats continuously throughout the workday. Frequently reaching below waist horizontally and below shoulder level. Ability to feel and see defects on rolls. Pushing / pulling cart of production weighing up to 500 pounds. Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen physical assessments audio and color vision test.
