Job Summary

This is what youll be doing:

The Coordinator Retail Operations serves on a small team helping drive the overall strategy & growth levers for the businesses at Halton Healthcare. The main purpose of this role is to coordinate activities to support driving and implementing Halton Healthcares commercial and retail strategy for the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Milton District Hospital and Georgetown Hospital and support the Manager of Retail Operations in these deliverables. Key responsibilities include providing assistance to the Manager on oversight to all retail operations lease holds analysis of vendor performance marketing events and assistance with other non-retail leases held by Halton Healthcare. This position is also responsible for coordinating all retail activities from invoicing marketing and inspections across all 3 Hospital sites.  

  • Vendor sales collection and tracking
  • Maintain vendor performance files and trackers
  • Collect vendor sales and prepare and issue monthly rent invoices
  • Analyze business performance and trends and provide recommendations
  • Vendor mail collection and distribution
  • Coordinate monthly health and safety retail inspections
  • Maintain tenant roll and lease agreements
  • Oversee vendor tasks and issues raised at all sites
  • Follow up on late rent payment and arrears
  • Support Manager in other initiatives
  • Upload promotional posters and retail related materials to Corporate internet
  • Maintain and update vendor page on connections and corporate website
  • Take meeting notes as required
  • Coordinate and execute marketing events to promote retail services
  • Manage retail content on social media
  • Design and produce marketing materials and signage to promote retail services
  • Coordinate other activities related to retail as directed by Manager
  • Other duties as assigned as part of the Facilities and Retail Team

Qualifications :

This is what youll need to do it:

  • College or University degree in marketing/advertising/business or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a business environment (Hospital setting preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze financial data and sales reports
  • Experience in lease agreements/negotiations preferred
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional groups and external parties
  • Strong computer Adobe and Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.)
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self-directed and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Well organized ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with understanding monitoring and critically reviewing contracts for facility services
  • Strong problem assessment and problem solving skills
  • Able to work in a team environment

Additional Information :

Status: Temporary Full-time

Hours:  Monday Friday 7.5 hour day shifts hours are subject to change based on operational needs

Site: Multi-site - Milton Oakville or Georgetown as required

Salary: $33.795 to $42.256
