The salary for this position is $257000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Compensation is prorated for part-time roles. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to relevant experience education and internal equity.

About Us:
Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH) a member of Mass General Brigham is a full-service community teaching hospital located in Newton Massachusetts just outside of Boston. We are dedicated to providing high-quality patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Overview:
We are seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join our Hospital Medicine team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to adult inpatients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including specialists nurses and case managers to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Participate in admissions discharges and daily patient management.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients families and consulting physicians.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Prior hospitalist experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.
