EHS Coordinator

Job Title: EHS Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

Location: Royston

The role:

As an EHS Coordinator you will help drive our goals by:

• Conduct departmental EHS audits (including area audits permit-to-work audits and Safety Observation Conversations (SOCs).

• Monitor and support compliance with site EHS procedures and standards.

• Support the rollout and promotion of behavioural safety initiatives and campaigns (e.g. My Team My Responsibility and Take 5)

• Assist departments with developing and implementing improvements identified through ergonomic general and fire risk assessments audits and team feedback.

• Support departments and the EHS team in completing and reviewing general and specific risk assessments (e.g. COSHH ergonomics fire).

• Contribute to 5 Why investigations helping identify root causes and corrective actions.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Passion for health safety and environmental improvement

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

• Great communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage with all levels across site (operations to management)

• Confident using Microsoft suite

• Willingness to learn and develop in EHS and presentation skills
