Job Summary
Position: Manager Finance
Grant Thornton Abdulaal Bahrain is currently seeking qualified and motivated Manager Finance to join one of our highly reputable clients in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial health and operations of the organization
- Prepare budgets forecasts and financial models
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Analyze financial performance and identify trends or variances
- Implement and maintain financial controls and compliance with laws and standards
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Supervise mentor and develop finance team members
- Evaluate expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives
- Identify financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles and reporting standards
- Use financial software/ERP systems to manage operations efficiently
- Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field (Masters or MBA preferred).
- Professional certification such as CPA ACCA CFA or CMA strongly preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in financial management or corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial regulations and reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proven experience with budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle QuickBooks or similar).
- Excellent analytical leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Arabic language skills will be a added advantage
- Candidates must be currently based in Bahrain
