Job Summary
Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) In-Home Care
Schedule: Part-time or Full-time (Flexible shifts available)
Compensation: $18/hour Paid weekly
Location: Private residence
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for an elderly woman in her 90s living with dementia. The ideal caregiver is patient attentive safety-focused and experienced in memory-care support.
You will be providing daily assistance companionship and hands-on personal care in a calm respectful home environment.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care including bathing dressing grooming and toileting
Assist with mobility transfers and fall-prevention
Monitor and document any changes in condition or behavior
Support dementia-friendly routines and redirection techniques
Prepare light meals and ensure proper hydration
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping related to the client (laundry tidying changing linens)
Offer companionship engagement and emotional support
Maintain a clean safe and dignified care environment
Communicate regularly with family regarding updates or concerns
Qualifications
Valid CNA license (required)
Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience preferably with dementia patients
Experience with in-home care and working independently
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Reliable transportation
Strong communication and patience with memory-impaired clients
Ability to lift/move 50 lbs (for transfers/mobility assistance)
