Our client a leading manufacturer based inChester CA is seeking an experienced and proactiveEnvironmental Health & Safety (EHS) Managerto join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional whos passionate about driving a strong safety culture ensuring environmental compliance and making a meaningful impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What Youll Do

Support management and employees in maintaining compliance with OSHA CAL/OSHA EPA and DOT regulations
Develop and implementJob Safety Analyses (JSAs)andLockout/Tagout (LOTO)procedures
Lead or assist inincident investigationsandroot cause analyses
Conductworkplace inspectionsand recommend corrective actions
Coordinate and deliversafety and environmental training including new hire orientations
Participate as aSafety Committee leader fostering engagement and accountability
ManageEHS documentation including training records incident reports and compliance data
Supportenvironmental complianceprograms stormwater air wastewater and hazardous waste
Assist withSPCC and SWPPPdevelopment and implementation
Schedule and managehazardous waste disposaland reporting activities

What You Bring

4 years of EHS experience in anindustrial or manufacturingenvironment (wood products experience a plus)
Associates OR Bachelors degree inOccupational Safety Environmental Science Industrial Hygiene or related field (or equivalent experience)
Must have STRONG experience with environmental regulations!
Strong working knowledge of OSHA CAL/OSHA
Excellent communication organization and problem-solving skills
Willingness to obtain or maintain certifications including OSHA 30 First Aid/CPR RCRA and California Title 22
