RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide clear guidance structure and accountability within the team.
- Partner with executives to support business planning modelling scenario analysis and long-term financial direction.
- Act as a steady commercial voice in decision-making discussions.
- Mentor and grow a finance team that delivers reliably and on time.
- Instil discipline consistency and high standards across reporting reconciliations and controls.
- Introduce best-practice processes and provide the kind of leadership that gives people direction and confidence.
- Oversee monthly management accounts budgeting forecasting and board-level reporting.
- Ensure accurate reconciliations strong internal controls compliance and efficient treasury management.
- Improve systems reporting frameworks and workflows to support scale.
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure financial alignment and support new initiatives.
- Provide insights that help the business assess risk profitability and performance.
- Support product expansion growth projects and cross-functional decision-making
Requirements
- CIMA qualification preferred
- 10 years of experience in finance with strong exposure to financial services or related regulated environments.
- A background that includes building teams implementing structure and lifting the quality of outputs.
- A calm grounded leadership style that balances accountability with support.
- Solid experience in financial reporting planning controls compliance and operational finance.
- A commercial mindset someone who can see beyond the numbers and help shape the business.
