Workplace: 418 32 GothenburgWhat to expect:
- Lead design and development of interior components with focus on:Trunk area & luggage compartment systemsHeadlinerCarpet trimInterior plastic and textile trims;
- Drive product development through the full VPDS/DVP cycle from concept to SOP.
- Secure alignment with technical targets cost timing and manufacturing feasibility.
- Act as the main interface for cross-functional teams (engineering styling supplier manufacturing quality).
- Prepare and facilitate Design Reviews ensuring issue tracking and documentation maturity.
- Manage and coordinate suppliers ensuring adherence to TR/DPR requirements and compliance standards.
- Support change management validation and release activities during the development phases.
- Promote continuous improvement and ensure robust development execution.
What you bring along:
- Proven experience as GDL D&R Engineer or Project Engineer within interior automotive components.
- Strong understanding of VPDS/DVP or similar product development framework.
- Knowledge of Catia V5 (plastics) and Teamcenter/PDM
- Experience with OEM interfaces article management and KDP databases.
- Experience working with Full Service Supplier or Build-to-Print environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English proactive working style and high ownership mindset.
- Gothenburg location and candidates must hold valid work authorization in Sweden.
