Group Design Leader Interior Systems

What to expect:

• Support design and development of interior systems including trunk and luggage compartment systems headliner carpet trim and interior plastic/textile components

• Participate in product development activities throughout the full development lifecycle (from concept to SOP)

• Contribute to design reviews documentation maturity and technical follow-up

• Coordinate and support supplier activities in line with technical requirements and quality standards

• Support change management validation and release activities

• Ensure alignment between technical solutions cost targets timing and manufacturing feasibility

• Collaborate with engineering quality manufacturing and purchasing stakeholders

What you bring along:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering Design Engineering Automotive Engineering or similar

• Experience in automotive interior components design engineering or technical project support

• Understanding of product development processes (e.g. VPDS/DVP or similar OEM frameworks)

• Experience working with CAD tools (e.g. Catia V5) and PDM systems (e.g. Teamcenter)

• Experience working with suppliers (Full Service Supplier or Build-to-Print environments is a plus)

• Structured analytical working style with good documentation skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

• Fluent in English written and spoken
