Job Summary
Overview
Central Maine Healthcare is looking for a Temporary Registered Nurse to join their team in the CMMC Emergency Department!
This position is full time 36 hours on a temporary basis for 13 weeks with the potential of one 13-week extension for a total of 26 weeks. Days MidShift and Nights available. This temporary role pays $60 per hour.

Position Summary:
The RN is responsible for managing individualized direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations by promoting and restoring patients health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing exceptional patient experience by supporting and educating the patient and family throughout their hospitalization; functions as the patient advocate while actively following a plan of care responding to changes in condition and/or response to treatments.
Education and Experience:
Critical Care/ED:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the state of Maine BSN preferred.
- Current ACLS and BLS (PALS desired)
- TNCC desired
- At least one year of nursing experience
- Prior team members must be seperated for at least one year to be considered for a temporary contract
