About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Production Lead to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site based in Southall. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take a step up into leadership or further develop their supervisory experience within a well-established operation. The role involves supporting the daily running of production lines supervising a team of operatives and maintaining performance and quality standards. Youll also provide critical cover when Shift Managers are on annual leave or unavailable stepping into full supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of production operatives during your shift

Ensure production lines meet daily output targets and run efficiently

Maintain high standards of food safety hygiene and health & safety compliance (HACCP/BRC)

Provide shift reports and communicate effectively with other departments

Cover Shift Manager duties as required taking responsibility for people performance and problem-solving

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site

About You

Previous experience in food production or FMCG manufacturing

Strong understanding of food safety and health & safety protocols

Experience supervising or leading teams on the shop floor

Positive attitude strong communication skills and a hands-on approach

Able to remain calm under pressure and adapt to shift cover needs when required
