Job Summary
Job Title: QA/QC Supervisor
Develop and implement QA/QC policies procedures and inspection plans to ensure consistent quality across all operations and projects.
Supervise and coordinate inspection teams ensuring adherence to project specifications codes and standards.
Conduct and oversee quality inspections for materials in-process work and final deliverables to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation including inspection reports test plans NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and corrective action records.
Review and approve ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) method statements and project-specific quality documentation.
Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with project managers engineers and clients to address quality concerns promptly.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits to maintain compliance with ISO and other relevant quality management systems.
Provide training and guidance to quality control staff to ensure consistent application of quality procedures and standards.
Monitor and report key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and recommend improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical or related discipline).
3 5 years of proven experience in QA/QC supervision in relevant industry construction manufacturing oil & gas etc..
Certification in QA/QC ISO 9001 or equivalent is preferred.
Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (e.g. ASME ASTM ISO).
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles methodologies and tools.
Proficient in preparing QA/QC documentation inspection test plans and audit reports.
Hands-on experience in material inspection testing and defect analysis.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC software tools.
Effective communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
