Job Summary
Job Title: QA/QC Inspector Electrical
Conduct inspections of electrical installations including cable laying termination panel installation earthing and testing/commissioning to ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
Verify and review material submittal test reports and method statements for conformity with project specifications and QA/QC plans.
Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to project quality plans inspection and test plans (ITPs) and relevant codes (IEC NEC BS).
Conduct incoming material inspections to verify quality and conformity with project requirements.
Document and report non-conformities ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented promptly.
Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports QA/QC logs and quality documentation for audits and client submissions.
Coordinate with site engineers contractors and consultants to resolve quality issues and maintain seamless workflow.
Assist in the preparation of final handover dossiers and ensure all electrical works are completed as per quality and safety standards.
Essential Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 5 years of experience in QA/QC for electrical works in construction oil & gas or industrial projects.
Knowledge of international standards such as IEC NEC BS and relevant QA/QC practices.
Certification in QA/QC ISO 9001 or relevant quality management systems is an added advantage.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems installation practices and testing procedures.
Proficient in reviewing electrical drawings specifications and technical documents.
Hands-on experience with inspection tools testing equipment and quality documentation.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams
