Job Summary

Job Description

Your role will be to provide senior APIC consulting services including architecture installation configuration and troubleshooting. Youll Work with the product management and support team to provide innovative and stable solutions.

Key skills and Qualifications

Design develop and deploy RESTful and SOAP APIs using API Connect and related tools. Develop custom policies microservices and secure API gateway configurations.
Oversee the full API lifecycle from creation to monitoring and versioning. Manage API security policies access control rate limiting and error handling. Ensure proper logging and monitoring practices are followed.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to define API strategies and integration patterns. Design integration solutions for complex systems and services ensuring reliability and scalability.
Work closely with development operations and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Provide guidance on best practices for API design performance optimization and security.

Location and Contract Term

The contract period is 12 months with possible extension options. This position is based in Canberra ACT.

Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment our client has requested that the successful candidate is required to hold current Baseline Security Clearance.
