We are seeking a Staffing Manager to oversee staffing operations coordinate daily schedules and ensure adequate shift coverage across our programs.
Position Summary
The Staffing Manager is responsible for managing employee schedules coordinating shift coverage responding to call-offs and ensuring proper staffing levels for all programs. This role requires strong communication attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
This position works Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and serves as the weekend on-call contact for staffing emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create update and manage daily/weekly staffing schedules for Assisted Living PDN and PCA services
- Respond to weekday and weekend employee call-offs and secure shift coverage
- Coordinate staffing needs and communicate updates with supervisors and admin team
- Utilize HRIS platforms including Run Powered by ADP and ADP Workforce Now
- Maintain accurate attendance scheduling records and credential reminders
- Communicate with staff via phone text and email to fill open shifts
- Ensure staffing complies with MN Department of Health and DHS requirements
- Support HR with onboarding coordination and documentation updates
- Provide Monday morning reports of weekend staffing activity
- Maintain professionalism confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- Prior experience in staffing scheduling HR or healthcare coordination
- Experience using HRIS systems (Run Powered by ADP ADP Workforce Now)
- Understanding of healthcare shift structures staffing ratios and regulatory requirements
- Strong interpersonal customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable organized and able to respond promptly to urgent needs
- Ability to serve as on-call staffing support during weekends
