Your role
We are looking for an experienced and committed Project Manager with a technical profile who wants to play a key role in driving successful industrialization at external this role you are responsible for evaluating and ensuring suppliers industrialization capabilities with a focus on capacity and production planning resource allocation and opportunities for cost optimization.
To thrive in this position you are motivated by working with people in cross-functional teams and managing complex project environments. You collaborate closely with functions such as design structural analysis production and procurement always with the companys holistic perspective in mind. You have experience working in an international environment where a global arena feels both natural and inspiring.
We are looking for someone with strong abilities in planning and leading teamwork in a structured way. You develop clear schedules work goal-oriented and easily engage others to achieve set objectives.
In this role you will be responsible for among other things:
Ensuring the suppliers ability to deliver in accordance with Saabs technical and organizational requirements.
Collaborating with internal departments to complete the requirement specifications and integrate external suppliers into the Gripen program.
Monitoring the industrialization process and ensuring that Saab is prepared to receive supplier deliveries at the end of the project.
You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders in a global environment where collaboration across departmental and national borders is a natural part of the job. The position is based in Linköping and business travel may be required.
Your profile
We are looking for a driven and business-oriented Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience leading technically complex projects. You are well accustomed to working in a global context and have managed issues related to industrialization with external suppliers.
You have a natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration is something you value highly and you thrive in environments where cooperation and dialogue are key. You are attentive communicative and contribute with a constructive and solution-oriented approach that strengthens the teams working climate.
You are solution-oriented and quick to make decisions enabling you to navigate complex projects and find effective ways forward. At the same time you are business-minded and have experience setting requirements for suppliers based on contracts and agreements. To succeed in this role you need strong communication skills in both Swedish and English and you should feel comfortable handling business discussions in both languages.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
