Job Summary
Hypebeans is a communal destination serving quality coffee. Hypebeans is currently available in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
Hypebeast is a leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle and a premier destination for editorially-driven news and commerce. Founded in 2005 it became a publicly listed company in 2016 and today boasts a global readership across North America Asia Pacific Europe and more. The Group has expanded its publishing brands to a wider scope encompassing Hypebeast and its multiple content distribution platforms creative agency Hypemaker and e-commerce and retail platform HBX.
Responsibilities:
- Daily operation and inventory management of Hypebeans.
- Preparing and serving quality coffee beverages and food to all customers.
- Handle customers orders and enquires in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide an excellent customer service to all visitors.
- Maintain smooth operations and cleanliness in the restaurant area.
- Participating in generating revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
- Be prepared to work at either cafe location as required.
Requirements:
- 1 year of relevant working experience in a sizable cafe/restaurant is highly preferred.
- High proficiency in both spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
- Polite presentable people oriented good team player punctual detail oriented.
- Hard working with an outgoing and positive personality.
- Knowledge and/or interested in coffee is a plus.
- Leadership Experience is preferred.
