We have an opening for an instrument technician to join our team for 72 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will work rotating shifts and be rostered Monday to Friday for a fixed term period until mid- April 2026.

The key responsibility of this role is to provide cleaning disinfecting and sterilising instruments and equipment for the provision of dental treatment at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.
You will be responsible for:
- Prioritisation of workload and completion of all CSSD daily activities to provide a high-quality end product to our clients
- Ensure that the appropriate standard of practice and adherence to National & International Standards is maintained
- Ensure that instruments and equipment are properly maintained and adequate stores are held
- Delivery of equipment to the appropriate work areas
- Collection or receipt of soiled equipment from work areas
About you:
- Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or equivalent awarded by a registered training organization approved by the AIC
- Knowledge of CSSD procedures safety requirements and the principles of prevention of cross contamination
- Strong knowledge of Infection Control Standards AS 5369:2023 Reprocessing of reusable medical devices and other devices in health and non-health related facilities & ACHS Requirements.
