The Role
The role of a SCaaS Sales Manager at TechPoint is crucial for electronics Supply Chain as a Service (SCaaS) managing the complex process in driving growth optimising the process for efficiency and cost-effectiveness building relationships and expanding the customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business plansworking alongsideSalesDirectorto expand the customer base. Explore new markets and opportunities for business growth andidentifyand pursue business opportunities through networking and partnerships.
  • Drive order intake activities for new logos or new projects from existing key customers.
  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships with new clients. Understand client requirements and propose suitable supply chain solutions and address customer concerns ensuringhigh levelsof customer satisfaction.
  • Sell ourSCaaSsolutionsoffering:supplier relationship management strategic procurement planning and demand management inventory reductionkittingand distributionKanBanand Consignment agreementsetc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing internal salesproductionand quality assurance to ensure customer requirements are met. Provide feedback from clients to internal teams for service improvements.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and quotations for significant opportunities from potential clients.Customisesupply chain offerings based on client requirements.
  • Regularly reviewobjectivesand sales targets and work towards achieving or exceeding them. Develop pricing strategies. Collaborate with the internal sales team to close deals and generate revenue.
  • Prepare regular sales and business development reports foryour line manager.Analysesales data and trends to make informed business decisions.
  • Ensure customer data and activity is properly recorded using the CRM system.
  • Create and manage own leads andpipeline being proactive to open doors to drive and grownew business opportunities.
About you
  • Aqualification or experiencein supply chain management business administration or a related field or electronics is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in supporting core markets -Medical Aerospace & Defense Industrial Automotiveis desirable.
  • Strongdesireto developsalesskillenergyand attitude to goanextra mile as well as the ability to closeSCaaSdeals and securenewcontracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for building relationships with clients presenting proposals and networking.
  • The ability to travel expected 75% to support the potential new and existingcustomersbase.
