Researcher (PostDoc) in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (all genders) Full-time (40 hw) in Vienna, Austria

• Teaching and conducting examinations independently (the standard teaching load for this position is 5 units/week per semester (1 unit 45 minutes of teaching).
• Teaching courses such as entrepreneurship new venture creation managing high growth firms; public policy and ecosystem development.
• Establishing relationships with stakeholders from the industry and developing a field of applied research related to the current and future challenges of the startup ecosystem.
• Contributing to the academic self-administration duties of the VIGS Institute.

• Doctorate in economics business administration management or a related field within the social sciences.
• Evidence of research potential preferably with a strong focus on new technologies like complexity science network analysis or big data analytics.
• Profound knowledge of different research methods (qualitative and quantitative)
• Commitment to high quality teaching including experiential learning.
• Ability to teach courses in the field of entrepreneurship innovation and related areas.
• Ability to attract external funding to support research programs and to successfully build collaborative research programs with other universities research institutes and industry.
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills; proficiency in German language is welcome.
