The Location

The picturesque coastal hinterland surrounds and country heritage at Beerwah are at the heart of our much-loved aged care home. Glasshouse Views is a Signature home that provides high-quality care in a friendly secure and comfortable residential environment.

The Role

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in peoples lives building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

• Ensure that all areas of the home are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents room
• Assist with the provision of a safe efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

To be successful you will have:

• Previous hotel services experience desirable
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
• Valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
