The Faculty Member in Nursing Program plays a critical role in delivering high-quality education advancing academic excellence and contributing to the professional and personal development of students. This position supports BMC s mission and strategic goals through effective teaching academic advising research and participation in institutional development and community service.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning
Deliver lectures seminars and tutorials at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
Develop course materials and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
Supervise student projects internships and research.
Research & Publications
Conduct original research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
Participate in academic conferences and scholarly activities.
Secure research funding where applicable.
Community Engagement
Initiate and participate in community service projects aligned with the institution s mission.
Collaborate with local organizations schools or healthcare facilities (as relevant).
Promote public awareness and education through workshops seminars or outreach programs.
Academic Advising & Support
Provide academic counseling to students.
Support students personal and professional development.
Institutional Contribution
Participate in departmental and college committees.
Contribute to program reviews and accreditation processes.
Support quality assurance curriculum development and strategic initiatives.
