Job Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced QA Engineer to ensure our products meet the highest standards of accuracy performance and reliability.
Role Overview: As a Senior QA Engineer for Data Products you will be responsible for validating the integrity completeness and performance of geospatial datasets and visualizations. You will work closely with data engineers product owners and visualization developers to ensure our solutions consistently deliver precise and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans for geospatial data products and visualizations.
Validate data accuracy completeness and consistency across multiple sources and formats.
Assess performance and scalability of data pipelines and visualization platforms.
Identify document and track defects ensuring timely resolution with engineering teams.
Collaborate with product owners and engineers to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
Advocate for quality best practices throughout the data product lifecycle.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science GIS or a related field.
5 years of experience in QA for data-intensive products preferably in geospatial or analytics domains.
Strong knowledge of geospatial data formats standards and visualization tools.
Proficiency in SQL Python or other scripting languages for data validation and automation.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and performance testing tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and a passion for high-quality data.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:
