Job Summary
Nodaway Valley CSD has a current opening for a District Wide School Nurse Substitute starting late December/early January.
Requirements:
- Registered nurse with valid Iowa licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Mandatory Reporter Certification
JobDescription:
- Maintains accurate and complete health records
- Instructs staff on plan of care and health needs of students
- Monitors for outbreaks of infectious and or communicable diseases
- Works with appropriate public health agencies as necessary
- Provides emergency care when needed
- Administers and records the administration of medication
- Consults with administration parent/guardian and school personnel to keep the school informed about pertinent health problems and needs of students
- Works in collaboration with students physician to provide medical services for students in the school environment
Other duties as assigned. Beginningpossibly the month of December

Physical Requirements:Bending carrying climbing driving lifting pushing/pulling reaching sitting standing walking.
