Internal Sales Advisor
Location: Carlisle (on-site)
Hours: Full Time
Contract: Permanent

Working as part of an experienced sales office team you will support customers external sales colleagues and the wider business with order management enquiries and day-to-day administration.

Key responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls professionally and respond to customer enquiries promptly
Build strong working relationships with customers and the external sales team
Accurately input and process customer orders including verbal orders
Maximise opportunities through upselling and cross-selling where appropriate
Liaise closely with the external sales team regarding queries special orders and customer expectations
Refer export and intercompany queries to the relevant internal sales or senior managers
Use internal systems to process orders update delivery instructions and maintain accurate records
Work in partnership with warehouse and operations teams to track orders manage changes and resolve issues
Assist with technical delivery or miscellaneous queries within your area of responsibility
Develop and maintain strong product knowledge and identify areas where further training is needed
Proactively contact customers to secure orders or share information about products and promotions
Build positive relationships with colleagues customers and visitors
About you:
Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Customer-focused with a positive friendly approach
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
Able to manage your own workload effectively
Ideally have access to your own transport due to the location
