About the role
The Visual Prototype Specialist is a creative enabler responsible for translating early packaging ideas into compelling visual experiences that clearly communicate function and appeal both internally and to key customers.
This role blends graphic design physical prototyping and visual storytelling to bring concepts and products to life. It ensures that each innovation is understandable presentable and emotionally engaging. Form packaging mock-ups to concept storyboards 3D visualizations and print-ready materials the role turns innovations into tangible and polished narratives.
Whilst the role is part of the CBU team it also actively supports the product platforms and the future innovation team. You will work closely with respective teams to help shape presentations customer pitches and hands-on concept kits that support early feedback co-creation and buy-in. You will also plays a critical role in preparing visual assets for events trade shows and commercial story telling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create visual representation of packaging concepts. Develop compelling 2D and 3D visualizations renderings and mock-ups that clearly express the design intent functionality and customer relevance of new packaging ideas
Build and prepare realistic packaging samples using manual or digital tools to support internal reviews customerworkshopsand presentations
Apply graphic design skills to layouts concept branding and visual identity mock-ups that enhance realism and professionalism
Prepare visually compelling content for customer-facing meetings workshopsPackRightsand events including visuals leave-behinds and demonstrations kits
Work closely with the different experts to translate technical ideas into clean understandable visual formats
Apply clear design principles brandalignment and formatting consistency across all visual assets produced by the innovation teams
Adapt materials for multiple channels (e.g. exhibitions and concept boards)
Organise andmaintaina central library of visual templates concept imagery andrenderingfiles for reuse across projects and other teams
Continuously explore new creative tools and design aesthetics to keep the visual language modern and impactful
About You
Educated to a degree level (DegreeinGraphic Designor Visual Artspreferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong graphic design and visual communicationskills with an understanding how to tellastory- its problemsolutionand value through a sequence of visuals
Experience with hands-on prototyping and model-making
Ability to design visual materials and create physical mock-ups
Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator InDesign Photoshop) 3D modelling/renderingtools (e.g. SolidWorks Visualize) and basic CAD tools
Works well in a team and service minded. Actively listens and adjusts based on input from relevant team
Able to prioritise and manage multiple requests and meet tight deadlines.
