Position Overview:
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) you will identify and pursue new business opportunities in the US market drive company growth and support the development of a dedicated US team for the group. This is a strategic role with the potential to grow into a VP function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive company growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Manage the full business development cycle from prospecting and proposal creation to contract negotiation and closing
- Collaborate closely with Sales Marketing and cross-functional teams in Germany and the US
- Conduct market research to identify trends customer needs and potential sectors
- Manage customer care and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships alliances and distribution channels
- Monitor competitors and industry developments to refine positioning and strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business Communications or related field
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B environments
- Strong ability to structure and close complex deals with multiple stakeholders
- Proven experience in business development sales or account management in relevant industries
- Strong knowledge of Med-Tech Mining Sensors Aviation Semiconductor or related sectors is a plus
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills German language knowledge and intercultural experience a plus
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop growth plans
- Willingness to travel as required
