HEALTH CARE AIDE (HCA)

This position is for our Oakview Place located in Winnipeg Manitoba

What youll be doing

• Support residents in participating in activities of daily living (e.g. dressing bathing toileting personal grooming & mobility);
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families;
• Ensure that care is provided according to the persons wishes preferences and care plan.

What you bring

• Completed HCA certification;
• Demonstrated compassion accountability and respect;
• Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English;
• Ability to meet the physical and cognitive demands of the job (e.g. bending lifting walking attention to detail ability to multi-task).
