As we grow we are strengthening our financial foundation with a results-driven process-minded and collaborative Manager of Accounts Receivable who will help lead the charge in optimizing our financial AR operations.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable ensuring accuracy efficiency and excellence across billing collections and reporting while introducing new tools processes and insights that support CLVs strategic growth.


As a key member of the Finance management team youll combine technical expertise with strong people leadership bringing innovation accountability and a service-first mindset to the department.


In addition to the responsibilities of a seasoned AR professional your impact will be on:

Leadership Culture & Team Development

  • Build develop and inspire a high-performing Accounts Receivable team.
  • Foster a disciplined accountable and engaged culture where team members take ownership and consistently deliver excellence.
  • Coach and mentor team members to grow their technical skills business understanding and professional confidence.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and metrics; recognize high achievement and address challenges promptly and constructively.
  • Model integrity collaboration and service excellence reinforcing CLVs core values in every interaction.

Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

  • Lead the daily operations of Accounts Receivable ensuring timely and accurate billing collections and reconciliations across CLVs national portfolio.
  • Implement best practices and standardized procedures to ensure scalability accuracy and efficiency as the organization grows.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation introducing automation AI tools and process enhancements to elevate performance and data integrity.
  • Strengthen internal controls minimize errors and ensure compliance with financial policies and audit standards.

Reporting Analysis & Strategic Contribution

  • Oversee accurate and timely preparation of AR reports aging summaries and KPI dashboards for leadership review.
  • Provide insights into payment trends risk exposure and process efficiency to inform financial decision-making.
  • Support forecasting and cash flow management aligning AR performance with corporate financial goals.
  • Partner closely with Finance leadership Property Management and Operations to ensure transparent communication and issue resolution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Integration

  • Play an active leadership role in process improvement initiatives resulting from acquisitions and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align financial processes with vendor/resident experience goals ensuring clear professional and timely communication.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Finance department and operational stakeholders delivering solutions that balance precision with practicality.


About You

You are a detail-driven financial leader with a passion for process improvement and a mindset for growth. You are a respected and inspiring manager. You combine deep accounting and analytical expertise with the ability to lead teams drive change and deliver measurable impact. You thrive in dynamic environments where systems are evolving and opportunities to innovate are encouraged.


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance with a minimum of 2 years in a management role overseeing AR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles billing systems and AR processes in a multi-site or multi-entity environment (real estate experience an asset).
  • Proven success leading teams through transformation growth or system integration.
  • Demonstrated experience improving AR efficiency through technology automation and performance tracking.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency (experience with Yardi or similar software preferred).
  • Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting Finance or Business; CPA designation or working toward one considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) preferred to support national operations.
