Job title : Key Account Manager - Netherlands
Location : Breda
The Key Account Manager covering the Netherlands will be critical to successful launching Galdermas new biologic and grow current inline portfolio into hospitals.
You will be the direct contact for full key DMU (Decision Making Unit) stakeholders to communicate the value proposition; be the main executor of the infield brand strategy and be responsible for negotiating add-on contracts. You will develop customer relationships whilst maximising opportunities based on strong account plans.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer and DMU relationship management
Deliver expected performance and beyond (sales) in the territory
Develops Smart objectives in line with territory strategy and strategic brand team goals
Effectively handles objections or concerns. Consistently gains a logical reasonable call to action/close on every sales call
Identifies develops and maintains disease state experts and speakers/advocates.
Creates and implements successful regional and local P2P plans that accelerate launch uptake of Galdermas exciting biologic
Mapping out and developing strong working relationships with relevant national/regional guideline committees hospital buyers hospitals pharmacists buying groups to enable implementation of access strategies
Scoping out the potential opportunities for Galderma within the changing Dutch Healhcare environment including integrated health care organisations reflecting back recommendations to the brand teams and identifying the key decision makers with whom interactions should occur
Territory Management
Continuously analyses market reports and eco-system insights (also via social media content)
Develops a business plan for own territory in line with brand strategy for most important accounts
Understand patient flow local ecosystems and key influencers so that key territory plans are appropriately build
Accurately identifies customer position on sales cycle. Effectively targets and tracks resources to maximize sales opportunities
Works closely with internal cross functional stakeholders including medical marketing market access to deploy and deliver and implement excellent local business plans in line with strategy and needs to key customers
Supports formulary gains at local/ regional level in collaboration with market access
Strong abilities to leverage Omnichannel approach for key customers to increase adoption
Adheres to industry and Galderma compliance requirements
Continuously strive to gain market intelligence
Capacity to organize and manage stakeholder meetings on C-level (hospital board HCI buying groups)
Differentiates Galdermas value proposition to physicians or other stakeholders assigned
Shares best practice to enhance our business success across the Brand Teams
Proactively initiates develops and implements a growth plan to develop in current position and prepare for future opportunities
Demonstrates in depth disease product market and competitive intelligence expertise
Skills and Qualifications :
At least 5 years selling experience in high costs drugs/biologics including launch experience.
Ideally (but not essential) having experience working the therapeutic areas of Immunology/ Dermatology and with established relationships
Autonomous and solution-oriented with strong independent thinking and a drive for continuous self-development.
Strong HEOR expertise deep understanding of national and local payors healthcare funding flows and ability to translate knowledge into insights and outcome-based contracts.
Excellent scientific communication skills: able to simplify complex medical data apply a customer-centric approach and demonstrate launch excellence within critical launch windows.
Strong business acumen and cross-functional leadership capable of analyzing territory/account data building robust plans influencing without authority and managing complex projects across medical marketing and market access.
Advanced stakeholder engagement with payors proven experience shaping relationships with healthcare stakeholders (especially payors and buying groups) understanding of payor decision-making
Fluency in Dutch and full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) are required
