About the Role
As the After Hours Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) youre the steady knowledgeable presence nurses turn to outside standard hours. Your role is all about empowering staff with real-time support - whether thats delivering bedside teaching troubleshooting clinical challenges or guiding early-career nurses through their next steps. Youll work closely with the after-hours management team ward-based Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs) and Nurse Educators to identify learning needs deliver education sessions and tailor support to individual staff strengthening confidence and clinical capability across the hospital.
Each shift youll influence practice uplift teams and help create a culture where learning is accessible 24/7. Its a role for someone who thrives on connection mentorship and making an immediate difference to staff and the patients they care for.
