The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Cadillac seeking Welders who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Perform various welding processes (MIG TIG Stick) according to specifications.
Interpret blueprints engineering drawings and work orders to determine welding requirements.
Inspect welded joints and components for defects ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
Prepare materials for welding including cutting grinding and cleaning metal surfaces.
Operate and maintain welding equipment tools and machinery in good working order.
Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g. MIG TIG Stick) and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols.
Demonstrated experience with various metal types (e.g. steel stainless steel aluminum).
AWS certification (or equivalent) in relevant welding processes.
Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods or visual inspection standards.
Proficiency in reading complex engineering blueprints and schematics.
Additional certifications in specialized welding processes (e.g. orbital welding specific exotic materials).
Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or overhead cranes.
