Key Responsibilities

Perform various welding processes (MIG TIG Stick) according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols.
Inspect finished welds to ensure quality strength and compliance with standards.
Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
Grind cut and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and quality control procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

3-5 years of experience with MIG TIG and Stick welding processes in a manufacturing environment.
AWS D1.1 or D1.6 certification (or equivalent) for structural steel or sheet metal.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints schematics and welding symbols.
Demonstrated ability to weld various materials including carbon steel stainless steel and aluminum.
Strong understanding of welding safety protocols and quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with advanced or specialized welding processes (e.g. TIG on exotic materials robotic welding).
AWS D1.X or other relevant advanced certifications (e.g. specific material certifications).
Proficiency in blueprint reading for complex assemblies and advanced weld symbols.
Experience with fabrication fitting or assembly in a manufacturing environment.
