Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG TIG Stick) on different materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols to determine specifications.
- Inspect finished welds for quality integrity and adherence to specifications.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to project requirements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during welding processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding machinery.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g. MIG TIG Stick)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols
- Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to welding safety protocols
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding tasks in various positions
- Experience in metal fabrication and assembly within a manufacturing environment
- Relevant welding certifications (e.g. AWS D1.1 ASME Section IX)
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with multiple welding processes (e.g. MIG TIG Stick Flux-core)
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and visual inspection standards
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment
