The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Perform various welding processes (MIG TIG Stick) according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols.
Inspect finished welds for quality integrity and adherence to standards.
Prepare materials by cutting grinding and fitting components prior to welding.
Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order.
Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components as required.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in MIG TIG and Stick welding processes.
AWS D1.1 or equivalent welding certifications.
Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols.
Demonstrated experience welding various metals in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with additional metal fabrication techniques (e.g. fitting grinding plasma cutting).
Certified to operate forklifts and/or overhead cranes.
Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills for welding equipment.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or 5S methodologies.
