The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and modify manufacturing tools dies jigs and fixtures.
• Perform routine maintenance repair and troubleshooting of existing tooling.
• Optimize tooling processes and designs to improve efficiency quality and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with production design and quality teams to implement tooling solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis for tooling failures and implement corrective actions.
• Manage tooling projects from initial concept through design fabrication and implementation.
• Evaluate and select appropriate tooling materials equipment and external vendors.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in tooling design manufacturing or maintenance.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for tooling design and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of tooling materials manufacturing processes (e.g. machining injection molding stamping) and GD&T.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot tooling issues optimize performance and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g. FEA mold flow analysis).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency in additive manufacturing techniques for tooling applications.
• Project management experience leading tooling development projects.
