Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and optimize manufacturing tools dies jigs and fixtures.
• Analyze tooling designs for manufacturability cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
• Oversee the procurement fabrication and maintenance of all production tooling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex tooling-related issues to minimize production downtime.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies for tooling processes and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and launch.
• Conduct root cause analysis on tooling failures and implement robust corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in tooling design manufacturing or maintenance within a production environment.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD CATIA) for tooling design and analysis.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes such as machining molding stamping or casting.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot tooling issues perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g. MoldFlow FEA).
• Proficiency in additive manufacturing technologies for tooling or prototyping.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Knowledge of advanced materials (e.g. ceramics composites superalloys) for specialized tooling applications.
