Key Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust manufacturing machinery and equipment according to production specifications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize production downtime.
• Document setup procedures machine settings and process parameters accurately.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards during setup operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in machine setup changeover and adjustment in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills for production machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical specifications.
• Proficient in using precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges).
• Knowledge of quality control procedures including first article inspection and in-process checks.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation systems.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software for interpreting complex designs or creating simple fixtures.
• Ability to perform minor preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
