Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and calibrate industrial robots and robotic systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robotic equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical mechanical and software issues in robotic cells.
• Program and fine-tune robot movements paths and logic using teach pendants or software.
• Conduct performance testing and validation to ensure robots meet production standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize robot performance and processes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance repairs and system modifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certificate in Robotics Automation Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
• 2 years of hands-on experience with industrial robot programming operation maintenance and troubleshooting (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics mechanical drawings and PLC ladder logic.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems PLCs (e.g. Allen-Bradley Siemens) and HMI.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced PLC programming experience (e.g. Siemens TIA Portal Rockwell Studio 5000)
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence)
• Proficiency in advanced robot programming languages (e.g. FANUC KAREL ABB RAPID)
• Familiarity with CAD software for cell layout or fixture design
• Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
