Key Responsibilities
- Install configure and calibrate industrial robots and robotic systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robotic equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical mechanical and software issues in robotic cells.
- Program and fine-tune robot movements paths and logic using teach pendants or software.
- Conduct performance testing and validation to ensure robots meet production standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize robot performance and processes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance repairs and system modifications.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical certificate in Robotics Automation Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
- 2 years of hands-on experience with industrial robot programming operation maintenance and troubleshooting (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics mechanical drawings and PLC ladder logic.
- Strong knowledge of industrial control systems PLCs (e.g. Allen-Bradley Siemens) and HMI.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Advanced PLC programming experience (e.g. Siemens TIA Portal Rockwell Studio 5000)
- Experience integrating and troubleshooting industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence)
- Proficiency in advanced robot programming languages (e.g. FANUC KAREL ABB RAPID)
- Familiarity with CAD software for cell layout or fixture design
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
