Key Responsibilities
- Install configure and calibrate industrial robotic systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robotic cells.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical mechanical and software malfunctions in robots.
- Repair or replace faulty robotic components and peripheral equipment.
- Program and teach new robot paths waypoints and operational sequences.
- Optimize robot performance for production efficiency and accuracy.
- Document all maintenance activities repairs and system modifications.
- Ensure all robotic operations comply with safety standards and protocols.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics Mechatronics or Industrial Automation.
- Proven experience with industrial robots (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB) in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing robotic systems including electrical mechanical and software components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical pneumatic and mechanical schematics.
- Basic to intermediate robot programming and teach pendant operation skills.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their interface with robotic cells.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or C for advanced robot control or data acquisition.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet).
- Experience with CAD software or robot simulation tools.
