Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and calibrate industrial robotic systems and their peripheral equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on robotic cells to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical electrical and software issues in robots and automation equipment.
• Execute repairs and replace defective components in robotic arms controllers and end-effectors.
• Program and fine-tune robot paths speeds and logic for various manufacturing processes and product changes.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure all robotic operations comply with industry standards and company protocols.
• Document maintenance activities repair histories and system configurations accurately for record-keeping.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics Mechatronics Industrial Automation or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in programming teaching and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB) in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) logic and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic components of automated machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation including electrical schematics mechanical blueprints and robot manuals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Siemens).
• Familiarity with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
• Certifications from major robot manufacturers (e.g. FANUC ABB KUKA).
• Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP Profinet).
