Key Responsibilities

Source screen and interview candidates for various manufacturing roles including production skilled trades engineering and plant leadership.
Partner with manufacturing hiring managers and HR to understand departmental needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to offer extension and pre-employment screening specific to a manufacturing environment.
Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and maintain accurate recruitment data.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with federal state and local employment laws as well as company policies and safety standards.
Develop and implement strategies to attract diverse talent within the manufacturing sector.

Recommended Qualifications

Experience recruiting for manufacturing production or industrial roles.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes terminology and technical skill sets.
Proven ability to source and attract qualified candidates for skilled trades and technical positions.
Experience with high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms.

Bonus Qualifications

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
Experience with specific HRIS/ATS platforms common in manufacturing (e.g. Workday SAP SuccessFactors).
Certification in recruiting (e.g. CIR CDR) or HR (e.g. SHRM-CP PHR).
Experience recruiting for niche technical roles within manufacturing (e.g. Automation Engineers Controls Technicians).
